🎙️ What's the Vibe?
I walked into Heavy Heads Records and was immediately struck by the cool, laid-back vibe. The owner was knowledgeable and friendly, happy to chat about his favorite rare soul and jazz finds. It felt like stepping back in time to a 1960s record shop, with vintage posters lining the walls and the gentle crackle of vinyl in the air.
🎵 What's Spinning Here?
This place has everything a vinyl enthusiast could want — from the latest indie rock releases to hard-to-find old stock blues and R&B. I found myself getting lost for hours, digging through the meticulously organized crates and discovering new artists I'd been wanting to add to my collection.
💎 Any Rare Finds?
The owner's curation of rare and collectible vinyl is truly impressive. I spotted several pristine original pressings of classic albums I'd been hunting for, like John Coltrane's A Love Supreme and Stevie Wonder's Talking Book. The prices were fair, and I walked out with a couple true gems for my collection.
🏘️ The Neighbourhood
Heavy Heads Records is located in a charming little neighborhood in downtown Springfield, just a stone's throw from some great local restaurants and cafes. It's the kind of place you could easily spend an afternoon, popping in and out of shops and soaking up the vibrant community vibe.
💰 What's it Gonna Cost Ya?
I didn't catch the details on pricing — but from what I've heard, the owner keeps things very reasonable, especially for the caliber of vinyl they have in stock. I'd heard about a few great vintage poster finds in the $20-30 range, so I'll definitely be stopping by again soon to see what other gems I can uncover.
