Stopping by, I was thrilled to discover a hidden section in the back with a treasure trove of unsorted records – the kind of place where you never know what musical needle in the haystack you might uncover. The staff did get a bit territorial when I started digging, but I eventually found a couple of those elusive limited-edition colored vinyl pressings that had been evading me.

I'd heard about Volume Music being a real hidden gem in The Woodlands, and my first visit didn't disappoint. The neighbourhood has such a cool, relaxed vibe, and the store fits right in – it's the kind of place where you can easily spend an afternoon flipping through stacks, chatting with the knowledgeable staff, and feeling like you're part of a tight-knit vinyl community.

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised by the prices – the standard edition vinyl was pretty much on par with what I'd expect to pay online, and even the limited colored pressings, while a bit more expensive in-store, weren't completely out of reach. It's the kind of place where you can build up your collection without breaking the bank.
