I walked in and immediately felt at home. The shop was so clean and well-organized, with a real passion for music running through the place. The kind owner greeted me warmly and seemed to really care about his customers.

First time here and I couldn't believe my luck - they had a near-perfect copy of that rare Joni Mitchell record I'd been hunting for! The owner even chased me down the street to let me know he'd found it. Now that's the kind of service you just don't see anymore.

I'd heard about this place being out in the middle of nowhere, but that's all part of the charm. Ringtail Records is a real hidden gem, tucked away in the beautiful Big Bend region. Driving up, I felt like I was stepping back in time to a simpler, more authentic era.

Been on my list for a while, so I was a little worried about the prices. But after seeing the incredible condition of the records and chatting with the owner, I totally get it. In a small town like this, with rent and COVID driving up costs, I'd say the prices are more than fair - especially for the level of care and passion you get.
