Browsing the shelves, I was impressed by the thoughtful curation. They had a killer selection of new and sealed rock records, plus a smaller but mighty collection of used and vintage gems. As an avid listener of ambient, electronic, and modern classical, I was stoked to find several titles I'd been hunting for that were hard to come by elsewhere.

Digging deeper, I spotted some real rarities - a few choice blues and jazz records that had me tempted to open up my wallet. I did end up snagging one pricier find, but it was worth it to add that Grouper LP the shop guy had recommended to my collection.

The prices at Stranded were pretty reasonable overall, with new releases and choice used finds ranging from affordable to a bit of a splurge. I did have one slight hiccup, where a warped record I bought ended up being a bit of a disappointment. But the shop owner was cool about it, and I'll definitely be back to give them another try.
