🎙️ What's the Vibe?
Stepping into Soulmates Music, I was immediately struck by the cool, chill vibe of the place. It's got this great half-record store, half-art studio feel that really drew me in. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere just had such good vibes. I could tell this was a spot where the locals really gathered to dig into some great tunes.
🎵 What's Spinning Here?
The selection at Soulmates might not be the biggest I've seen, but it's mighty impressive. I was blown away by their massive collection of African and reggae music - easily one of the best I've come across in all my travels. And the jazz and dance music selection was pretty darn good too. I spent ages flipping through the crates, finding all sorts of vintage gems.
💎 Any Rare Finds?
I didn't catch the details on any truly rare or collectible vinyl they might have - but I'll be back to find out. Based on the selection I did see, though, I have a feeling this place is a goldmine for vinyl hounds like myself. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for any hidden treasures next time I stop by.
🏘️ The Neighbourhood
Soulmates Music is nestled right in the heart of West Palm Beach, in a really cool, artsy little neighborhood. Walking in, I got a great sense of the local community - it's clearly a spot where the cool kids hang out and get their vinyl fix. The whole area had a really laid-back, creative vibe that just made me want to stick around and soak it all in.
💰 What's it Gonna Cost Ya?
From what I could tell, the prices at Soulmates are right in line with what I'd expect to pay at a quality used record store. The two pieces I picked up were in great shape and sounded awesome, without any annoying clicks or pops. And I loved that they had a listening station set up so I could preview things before purchasing. Seems like a fair, honest spot for vinyl enthusiasts like myself.
