Stepping into CD Source, I felt like I was stepping back in time to some cool, independent music haven. The owners were warm and welcoming, joking around with customers and creating a fun, laidback atmosphere that had me instantly at ease.

The selection here was impressive - rows and rows of CDs, a nice vintage stereo equipment section, and some great used vinyl albums too. As a passionate music collector, I loved browsing through it all, finding familiar favorites and discovering new gems I'd have to add to my collection.

Tucked away in Rockford, Illinois, CD Source feels like a true community staple. The locals clearly love this place, and I could see why - it's the kind of independent music shop that music hounds in the area probably consider their second home.

The prices here were great - no gouging or anything. I even managed to pick up a jazz album and a death metal album (don't ask!) without breaking the bank. These folks know how to keep their customers happy and coming back for more.
