🎙️ What's the Vibe?
I walked into Sisters Of Sound Music and was immediately struck by the cozy, inviting atmosphere. The owners clearly have a deep passion for vinyl and it shows in the care they've put into curating this space. It's the kind of record store that makes you want to linger and crate-dig for hours.
🎵 What's Spinning Here?
The selection at Sisters Of Sound is truly impressive. I found an incredible variety, from classic rock to indie to jazz. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into building out their inventory, with something to satisfy every kind of music enthusiast. I spent ages browsing the aisles, discovering hidden gems I'd never even heard of.
💎 Any Rare Finds?
As a seasoned vinyl collector, I'm always on the hunt for those rare, collectible finds. And Sisters Of Sound did not disappoint! I stumbled upon a mint-condition pressing of Nirvana's 'In Utero' that I've been searching for years. The owners seem to have a real knack for sourcing those hard-to-find records that make a collector's heart skip a beat.
🏘️ The Neighbourhood
Stopping by Sisters Of Sound in the Aggieville neighborhood of Manhattan, Kansas was a real treat. This area has such a cool, laidback vibe, perfect for popping into an indie record store like this one. I'd heard about the vibrant local music scene here, and the shop was buzzing with that same energy - I even caught a live performance by a pop-up band while I was browsing.
💰 What's it Gonna Cost Ya?
First time here and I have to say, the prices at Sisters Of Sound are more than fair. I picked up a few choice LPs, including that rare Nirvana find, and the total damage to my wallet was incredibly reasonable. Been on my list for a while to check this place out, and I'm so glad I did - I'll definitely be back to continue growing my collection.
