I walked in and was immediately struck by the energy of the place — it felt like the Newbury Comics I remembered from decades ago, when it was a hub for music lovers from all corners of the subcultures. The staff were friendly and eager to chat, just like the old days.

The Selection:
The selection was impressive, with a huge Funko Pop section and all kinds of other collectibles and miscellaneous items. But I headed straight for the vinyl — that's what I'm really here for. I found a great range of genres, from the classics to the more obscure.
💎 Any Rare Finds?
Rare & Collectible Vinyl:
I'd heard about the store's reputation for rare and collectible vinyl, and I wasn't disappointed. There were some real gems locked up in the cases, with prices that made my eyes widen a bit. But I can't fault them for trying to get top dollar — I know how much these records are worth.

The Neighbourhood:
Stopping by the Braintree location, I was pleased to find it conveniently located in the South Shore Plaza, just up the escalators from Target. The neighbourhood had a nice, lively feel to it, with plenty of other shops and restaurants to explore.

What's it Gonna Cost Ya?:
First time here and I have to say, the prices were a bit of a shock. I know a business has to make money, but some of these markups on the vinyl records just felt excessive. I'll have to do some comparison shopping, but I'm hopeful I can still find some good deals if I dig deep enough.
