As I walked in, the extreme smell of tobacco almost brought me to tears. The silent, dimly-lit interior felt more like a private collector's den than an active record shop. I even spotted the owner sitting behind the counter, fast asleep and snoring away - a real Twilight Zone moment.

The selection was a bit sparse, with many of the racks completely empty. But I did manage to find a few interesting gems scattered around the crowded interior, hidden amongst the boxes of loosely organized vinyl. It felt more like a treasure hunt than a typical shopping experience.

Moorhead, Minnesota isn't exactly a hotbed of record store activity, so I was intrigued to stumble upon this little spot. The neighbourhood had a quiet, residential vibe - not the kind of place you'd expect to find an eccentric vinyl haven.

With the owner seemingly checked out, the pricing was all over the place. Some of the records were dirt cheap, while others seemed a bit overpriced given the shop's somewhat haphazard state. But for a true vinyl obsessive, the thrill of the hunt might be worth braving the funky smells and questionable organization.
