The selection here is truly mind-blowing. Rows and rows of used and new records spanning every genre imaginable - from indie rock and post-hardcore to emo and punk. It's like they've curated the best of the best, and I always leave with a stack of albums I never knew I needed.

Sifting through the bins, I've stumbled upon some real gems - rare pressings and collector's items that you just can't find anywhere else. The prices are more than fair, too, which makes it even harder to resist walking out without a few extra records tucked under my arm.

I've got to hand it to the folks of Akron - they've got impeccable music taste. Square Records is nestled in a charming neighborhood, and I always enjoy the short drive over to check out what's new. The parking situation could be a bit more convenient, but it's a small price to pay for such an awesome record store.

The pricing at Square Records is more than competitive - in fact, I'd say it's the best I've seen in the state. No matter what I'm hunting for, I always leave feeling like I got an incredible deal.
