🎙️ What's the Vibe?
I walked in feeling the warm, laidback vibe of a classic record shop — the kind where you can just dig and discover without any pretense. The guys behind the counter had a cool, easygoing energy that made me feel right at home.
🎵 What's Spinning Here?
After spending a couple of hours sifting through their impressive selection, I was blown away by the sheer variety of genres on offer — from vintage rock and folk to obscure jazz and soul gems. They really seem to cater to all the serious record collectors out there.
💎 Any Rare Finds?
I managed to uncover a few real treasures, including a mint copy of Stevie Wonder's "Talking Book" and a super-rare pressing of Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue." The staff knew their stuff and were happy to chat about the history and rarity of the records I was interested in.
🏘️ The Neighbourhood
Stopping by The Rock Shop felt like stepping back in time — the shop is tucked away in a charming little neighborhood with an old-school vibe. I'd heard about this place from a fellow vinyl enthusiast, and I'm glad I made the trip out to check it out.
💰 What's it Gonna Cost Ya?
First time here and the prices were very reasonable, especially in the buy-two-get-one-free bins. I ended up walking out with 18 records, with prices ranging from $2 to $10 each. Not a bad haul at all for a vinyl lover on a budget.
