🎙️ What's the Vibe?
Stepping into Vinyl Tap, I was immediately struck by the cool, laid-back vibe of the place. The combination bar and vinyl shop had a real 1960s enthusiast's hangout feel, with friendly patrons and a bartender named Craig who was incredibly welcoming and helpful.
🎵 What's Spinning Here?
While the selection of used vinyl wasn't huge, I was pleased to find a decent spread of new releases. There were no real bargains to be had, but I was able to track down a few albums I'd been jonesing for, like that new Take My Hounds record. It's the kind of place where you can spend an afternoon digging through the crates.
💎 Any Rare Finds?
I didn't catch the details on that one — but I'll be back to find out. If I ever do happen upon a thousand bucks burning a hole in my pocket, you better believe I'll be returning to Vinyl Tap to see what kind of rare and collectible gems they've got stashed away.
🏘️ The Neighbourhood
Vinyl Tap is nestled right in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, in a neighbourhood that's just brimming with that classic music city vibe. As I browsed the shelves, I couldn't help but soak in the energy of the place — it feels like the kind of spot where great local musicians might just wander in on any given day.
💰 What's it Gonna Cost Ya?
The new LP prices at Vinyl Tap were pretty standard for a record shop of this calibre — no real bargains to be found, but also no gouging. It's the kind of place where you can treat yourself to a new addition to the collection without breaking the bank. And hey, with a fully-stocked bar on-site, you can enjoy a tasty libation while you're at it.
