Stepping into Spin Connection, I felt right at home — the friendly staff welcomed me with open arms, and the accessibility of the store made browsing a breeze. It had that cool, 60s record shop vibe that makes you want to stick around and dig through the crates.

The Selection:
The selection here was really diverse and reasonably deep. From the original and re-released vinyl to the tapes and CDs, there was plenty to explore. I was pleased to find a solid range of genres, though I did wish I had spotted more of my beloved The Who and Supertramp records.

As I wandered the aisles, I couldn't help but get a little envious of the owner's impressive collection of music memorabilia. Those rare and collectible vinyl gems must be the crown jewels of this store. I'll have to come back and see if I can't uncover a hidden treasure or two for my own collection.

Spin Connection is nestled right in the heart of Waco, Texas, and from what I could tell, it's a real hub for the local music scene. The store seemed to be a gathering place for fellow vinyl enthusiasts, and I imagine it's the kind of spot that really brings the community together over their shared love of music.

The prices at Spin Connection seemed pretty fair, at least for the few items I checked out. I managed to snag a killer System of a Down record at a reasonable rate. Of course, those rare and collectible pieces probably come with a heftier price tag, but that's all part of the hunt, isn't it? I'll have to keep an eye out for any future Record Store Day exclusives as well.
