I walked in on Memorial Day and was greeted by what seemed to be the owner, who was friendly and welcoming. The shop had a relaxed, homey feel that made me want to stick around and dig through the bins.

I was not expecting or ready for the huge used selection of vinyl they had. Coming from record shops in Rochester, NY, I'm usually underwhelmed, but Mountain Music had an impressive array that I just don't see elsewhere. Definitely a spot for any music lover or collector to discover hidden gems.

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety - everything from vintage stereo equipment to jewelry, stickers, and even CDs. But the real treasure trove was in the vinyl section, where I could have spent hours flipping through all the rare and collectible titles.

Stopping by Mountain Music, I felt like I was transported to a cozy little corner of Rutland, Vermont. It's the kind of place that makes you want to go camping in the area just so you can come back and dig through the bins again.

The prices were more than fair - not the kind of markup you'd expect at a specialty shop. I'd heard about Mountain Music being worth the trip, and after seeing the selection and reasonable costs, I'd highly recommend it to any music fan passing through the area.
